Presales Cybersecurity Engineer

CyberGym is looking for a Presales Cyber Engineer who has in-depth technical cybersecurity expertise. The candidate must have a proven track record in providing technical sales support as well as designing and implementing cybersecurity technologies and solutions. The position involves establishing collaborative technical relationships with prospective customers and developing solutions that meet their needs. This includes designing and presenting CyberGym’s solutions and services, bills of materials (BOMs) and proposals.

The position is located in Israel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our industrial and IT cybersecurity solutions
  • Identify and understand customers’ business goals, operating objectives and requirements, and customize our cybersecurity solutions to meet their needs
  • Lead customer facing demonstrations, proof of concepts, and RFI/RFQ/RFP technical solution design and responses
  • Design, configure and implement: SIEM platforms, vulnerability management, advanced security analytics, threat intelligence, digital forensics, data loss prevention, network security policy management, firewall management
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Meet with clients to clarify project goals, dynamics, timelines, planning and execution
  • Participate in sales calls with colleagues
  • Keep records of and report back to the director on all presales activities
  • Provide strategic feedback and input on presales activities
  • Coordinate and provide training for the presales team, including developing training strategies for the team with the Training department
  • Coordinate with other departments on ongoing projects, bids, troubleshooting and any activity requires their input
  • Be available for traveling, meeting new clients and surveying sites even in difficult conditions
  • Provide prospects for potential clients and increase sales
  • Use networks and leads to meet potential clients
  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers in their organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Present to and consult with mid- and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the CyberGym’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help the Sale team close deals

Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Engineering (electronics or CS related field)
  • 5-7 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • Minimum of 5 years combined pre-sales/technical sales support experience
  • At least 2 of the following certifications: CISSP, CEH, CCNA + Security, CIFI, CompTIA Security+, COBIT
  • At least 2 of the following vendor certifications: RSA, Security Analytics, SECOPS, Archer, IBM Qradar, HP Archsight, CISCO, Checkpoint, Fortinet, FireEye, Imperva, VMWare, Forcepoint
  • Diligent with good attention to details
  • In-depth commercial knowledge and a complete understanding of financial issues, including business plans and ROI
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
